Storm Guard

The Storm Guard captures microplastics (“nurdles”) before they enter our waterways where marine life and wildlife ingest them, which is oftentimes fatal. It also captures larger items and floatables, like leaves, cigarette butts, paper goods, and other debris.

• Heavy-duty, adjustable catch basin filter captures plastic pellets between 1.0mm and 5.0mm, along with other contaminants
• Heavy-duty, aluminum construction catch basin insert captures and contains plastic pellets and other contaminants using removable/ replaceable filtering cartridges
• Cartridges filter out plastic pellets and other particles that are 1.0mm (1,000 microns) to 5.0mm (5,000 microns) in size
• Different cartridges are available depending on target pollutant(s)
• Helps comply with Operation Clean Sweep and other “zero plastic resin loss” programs
